Yasin Salami Ranjbaran is a graduate research and teaching assistant in the department of automotive engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. He received his B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tabriz in 2015. Also, He got his M.Sc. degree in automotive engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2018 under the supervision of Professors M.H. Shojaeefard and G.R. Molaeimanesh. Being engaged in several R&D projects within the automotive engineering industry, Yasin showed noticeable eagerness and talent for finding solutions for real-life challenges. Teaching a couple of courses for graduate students of the relative faculty, publishing a couple of journal papers within some eminent journals, presenting over 20 conference papers within well-received conferences and symposiums, serving as the editorial board of Sebghat bilingual automotive magazine, and also leading a research group team focusing on numerically and experimentally investigating the state-of-the-art battery thermal management systems are some of the outstanding accomplishments and projects he has in his record within the recent five years. His current research interests include Lithium-ion batteries, hybrid and battery electric vehicles (HEVs and BEVs), active and passive battery thermal management systems (BTMSs), phase change materials (PCMs), porous media, conjugate heat transfer, and simulation.
